Description
A day of sunshine and showers in early summer at Kyleakin on the Isle of Skye. The slipway in the foreground was for vehicle and passenger ferries that linked Kyleakin with Kyle of Lochalsh on the mainland. The ferry service came to an end when replaced by the Skye Bridge in October 1995.
